Makes me think of “the American dream”
The project of Sustainable West Seattle allows the community to borrow from an assortment of over 1,500 tools, everything from 100-foot extension cords to chainsaws, auto-darkening welding masks to weed-whackers.
The goal of the library is to offer members an easy and sustainable way to use tools for a period of time and then return them for others to use. These tools might have otherwise ended up in landfills or improperly disposed of. Thanks to the library, they receive a second life – over and over again.
